In this story, a server is dealing with an impatient customer who wants more ranch (why is it always ranch?). The server heard his request the first time but still had multiple other tables to check on. She had a system going, and she'd get the impatient customer to his ranch in due time. Well, the customer didn't find this acceptable and needed to be served his extra ranch immediately. So much so that he asked four, yes, four more workers if they could get him ranch. So, each worker was obliged to bring him extra ranch. The table's main server, seeing this happen and growing irritated that this man had to pull various other busy workers from their hectic roles to cater to his immediate needs for more ranch, so the server decided to get petty.
